Ireland, finally again!!!

Ok, I know... It's been a while since my last post... Sorry...
BUT I got some wonderful news!!!
I'm going to Germany with ERASMUS programme!!! I can't wait for it!!

Anyway, as you know I went to Ireland and England last March and I really loved my travel. I took my first plane all alone (from Dublin to London).
Here what we did.

Gurten Bay, Sky Road, Ireland
I went to Ireland with my family and we decided to rent a car and go to Galway, Clifden and the Cliffs of Moher. We spent a wonderful week and, when we went back to Dublin, we went to Saint Patrick's Day Parade, which was amazing!!

In Dublin fair city, where the girls are so pretty...

Hi everyone!!! Let me tell you about my past trips to Dublin and Ireland.
I went to Dublin in 2010 for the first time. I went there with my mum and it was my first travel abroad. I didn't speek English very well but my mum's was terrible so I had to learn quickly xD.
I loved this town from the first moment; people are friendly and there's something magic in the air.

I would love to study in Dublin for my master degree...
Anyway, we stayed in the north side, in Lower Gardiner Street (in Talbot Street there's a wonderful bookshop where I bought 3kgs of books!!)
We ate expecially in fast foods because we wanted to save money for the attractions but sometimes we had a lovely time in some cafes.
Here there's the O'Connel bridge and some cupcakes.

There are many things to see; in my opinion the best are the Spire, Temple Bar (for a few beers), Grafton Street (for shopping), both St. Patrick and Christ Churches, Saint Stephen's Green (to relax a bit after a long walk) and Talbot Street.
Actually I know it's not possible to describe sensations and emotions...
So here you are some pictures!!!
In Henry Street there's a wonderful flower and veggies market and everywhere in Dublin there are musicians in the streets. Maybe that's the magic in the air xD

When I went there the following year I already knew the most known places and I looked for typical irish places.
We had a break at Queen of Tarts (believe me, it has delicious teas, cakes and any kind of muffin, scone and cupcake).
A walk on the river, the Liffey, will help you after a big breakfast...

I'm going back there on March, for Saint Patrick Day!!! I can't wait!!!

Halloween in Transylvania

Hi everyone! Sorry if I haven't written for a long time, actually I have my exams to do...
Here I am telling you something about my last trip to Bucharest.
I went there with a friend of mine, Lucia (yeah, the one of Paris) and a friend of her; we stayed there just for three days but I really enjoyed it :)

Day 1: we arrived in Bucuresti at 8 pm and had time to eat and drink something in Lipscani, which is the night-life street of the city.

Day 2: I had booked a bus tour in order to visit Peles castle and Bran castle; we also went to Brasov, a really cute city (you have to go there). We had dinner in a tipical restaurant; I loved it.

Day 3: We left our hotel in the morning and took the metro to visit the city as fast as we could. We saw many places, squares and important monuments. When we took the bus to the airport I was a bit sad, but, you know, for me every "I'm back home" is a new "Where can I go now?".

So, I hope you liked my adventure :) Bye
PS yes, I'm already planning a new trip ;)

Berlin 2014

Hi everyone! I just come back from Berlin and I want to tell you more about it. I went with my cousin Laura and we really had a lot of fun.

Day 1: Landing and sleeping
Actually, the first day we landed at 9 p.m. so we just went to the hotel and then went out to have dinner. We stayed at the Generator hostel in Mitte.

Day 2: Tour on foot
We went to the Reichstag and Brandenburg Tor, we had breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts and then visited the Holocaust Memorial and Potsdamer Platz. We walked around in Kreuzberg, visited the East Side Gallery (amazing!), Alexanderplatz and then back to the hostel. There two American guys asked us to have dinner and we had a lovely evening, in pubs, restaurants and then in the hostel bar.

Day 3: It was the time of the Zoologischer Garten; we had breakfast in a mall with a big window on the zoo and then walked around in Kurfurstendamm (I discovered mary lovely shops over there!) and stopped a bit at KaDeWe.
Then to the Mauer Memorial and home... We wanted to go to the most famous disco in Berlin, The Watergate, but the cue was too long.

Day 4: We took the train to Potsdam and then took a city bus there. It's a  lovely city, with many gardens and lakes. Unluckly it started raining and we went back to Berlin. We went to a Bavarian restaurant for dinner and tryed German typical dishes.

Day 5: Museums' time

We bought the Museum Island Pass and visited the Pergamon, the Neue and the Alte museum. Then there was a green demonstration outside and we joined it. At the end, at Brandenburg Tor, there was a concert of the band Ratatoeska... Love at first sight <3

Day 6: Auf Wiedersehen
We left the hostel at 10 a.m. and visited one last museum (African modern art) then we went to the airport.

It has been a wonderful trip, I met a lot of kind and interesting people and I discovered something of myself I didn't know. I'll go back there. :)
